A-Z Bus Sales Announces New Service Manager for their Sacramento Service Center Location
COLTON, Ca. (August 25, 2014) — A-Z Bus Sales, Inc., a leading provider of transportation and fire apparatus solutions, announce the hiring of Chris Fernandez as their Sacramento Service Manager. Chris’s responsibility includes leading the Sacramento service department to greater performance, growth, and improved customer service.
Chris joins the A-Z Bus Sales team with over 30 years of maintenance industry experience in the California region. In his last position, Chris served as the California Sales Representative for FleetNet America, a third-party management company that coordinates maintenance management services for commercial fleets. While serving as sales representative, Chris increased brand awareness and directly impacted annual sales through fleet customer acquisitions. “Working closely with fleet customers in the maintenance industry has helped focus my knowledge in leading a team of service technicians to greater performance and improved customer service,” said Chris. “I’m real excited to be part of the A-Z Bus Sales team and look forward to working with the service employees and customers.”
In a previous role with United Airlines, Chris was directly responsible for assembling a Special Route Team of technicians that accomplished the post-911 cockpit door upgrades in half the time that was estimated by engineers, saving the company money. “The Sacramento location and service team members are excited to welcome Chris and his leadership and management expertise,” Said Danny Hetzler, General Manager for A-Z Bus Sales in Sacramento. “His talent and passion for customers fit perfectly with A-Z Bus’ Core Values.”
Chris lives in Lincoln, California. He has been married for 23 years and he and his wife, Maria, have two teenage children. Chris likes European cars and enjoys working on his 1999 BMW M3 and is also an avid reader.
