Cummins Safety Notice for ISB Engines

In accordance with the National Traffic and Motor Vehicle Safety Act, Cummins Inc. has issued a safety notice. The notice states:

Cummins Inc. has decided that a defect which relates to motor vehicle safety exists in certain vehicles powered by Cummins ISB engines.  The defect involved could result in an interruption in fuel supply to the engine.  This condition could result in an engine stall without warning to the vehicle operator and cause a sudden loss of engine power, which could result in a crash. 

Cummins urges you to contact the nearest Cummins-authorized repair facility for corrective action.  Please have your engine serial number(s) available to verify to relevance of this Safety Notice to your particular engine(s).
