California Awards the State Para-Transit Bid

Colton, CA - April 16, 2002 - The California Department of General Services, in cooperation with the Department of Transportation – Mass Transportation Program, has awarded State Contract Number 1-02-23-15 for a variety of Para-transit products. A-Z Bus Sales has been announced as a new supplier for this contract, offering Type III Cutaway Para-transit buses built by Goshen Coach of Elkhart, Indiana.

Jim O’Connell, Vice President of A-Z Bus Sales, provided the following: “We are extremely pleased to offer public entities, agencies, and vehicle operators the opportunity to select an excellent product offering, with a multitude of seating and safety options, while meeting Federal and State Standards for construction, safety, and capacity needs.

“Goshen has a conservative history of meeting capacity and weight requirements, while offering excellent flexibility in option content”, said O’Connell. Additionally, A-Z Bus Sales has listened to the needs of many previous buyers to find that they are looking for ease of purchase, on-time delivery without long lead times, and reliability of equipment at start up. He said the goal of the Company is to meet the needs of the purchasing agency, as the Company has done in its two-decade-long tenure of sales in California.
